The SOUNDCHAIR

is the best product in the world to enable deaf people to feel "sound". The Soundchair powered by the IBEAM transducer was first introduced in Europe at the BRAINFAIR 2004 by Prof. Dr. H. G. Wieser and Mark F. Langenauer. The chair was also presented to the most important Swiss people, we had a gathering at the Unisversity of Zurich, organized by Prof. Dr. H. G. Wieser and we donated the cair to the Institute of Neurology of Zurich University Hospital.

The IBEAM transducer has gained worldwide recognition as the best transducer currently in existence to accurately transmit audio frequencies trough a chair, bed, dance floor, hospital bed or message table.

It was developed by Renaissance Sound LLC., located in Sacramento, California under the guidance of James L. Kirschman, the CEO of Renaissance Sound.

The IBEAM is being assembled by Sonic Immersion Technologies, located in Paducah, Kentucky, from component parts manufactured in Thailand.

The IBEAM is currently being used for sound therapy in the chairs, beds and message tablets in wellness centers in the US. In addition to its medical applications, the IBEAM is being used for home theater, in the seats of IMAX-type theaters throughout the world, in the Museums of the US Navy, flight simulators and by geological survey crews for seismic testing.
